Running Weekend: Sweethearts 4ever 4 Mile Run

Say goodbye to cabin fever this weekend, and hello to running and romance.

The Sweethearts 4ever 4 Mile Run starts at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Massad Family YMCA, 212 Butler Road. The course runs at the YMCA, Pratt Park and the Belmont-Ferry Farm Trail. 

Registration is $30, $20 w/no T-shirt. There will be prizes for top finishers overall and in age groups, along with a prize for the top 3 couples.

Packet pickup is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at VA Runner in Central Park. Race-day pickup starts at 9 a.m. at the YMCA on Butler Road.

The race is expected to be held rain or shine, but a snow emergency could push the event back to Feb. 16.
