Soggy Doggy Swim

The Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation, and Public Facilities Department is closing the pool with their annual Soggy Doggy Swim.  Admission is $5 for up to two dogs to swim in the pool from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.  T-shirts will be available for puppies and their human friends alike, so bring a little extra cash. Registration forms are available at the Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal St.

This will be the Yellow Jackets second game of the season.

The Fredericksburg Regional SPCA 15th Annual Walk for the Animals
Saturday, Sept. 7. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m.  The walk begins at 9:15 a.m.
Maury Stadium, Hanover St. and Kenmore Ave., Fredericksburg
This year's theme is Carnival of Canines! There will be games before and after the walk, snow cones for the dogs and popcorn for the humans, and prizes.
