Stafford County's Alternative Education program is housed in the Gari Melchers Complex on Gayle Street. Stafford County's Head Start program and the Stafford County Police also share the same building. The Alternative Education program focuses on students who have received long-term suspensions or expulsions. Classes are from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily.
