We eat at Bistro about once a week and always find it enjoyable: great food, warm atmosphere, helpful staff. The specials are always tempting and the wine list has nice variety and is fairly priced. A good choice for an enjoyable evening.

About average. This place has some good and some bad. For the price, there are better places around Fredericksburg.
Positives: Nice menu - Specials were creative and original. Great atmosphere - If you want a quaint outside dining along the main strip then this is the perfect atmosphere for you.
Negatives: I ordered the Special which was a dish of Risotto and Scallops. Scallops were charred on one side, raw on the other. Portions were on the small side and only 4 scallops (rest was risotto and vegetables). My wife got the Salmon. Perfectly cooked, Poorly seasoned. Also, service is horrid. The waiter treated took 35 minutes just to bring the check (we had to call another server). His attitude was beyond insulting the whole time. (TO NOTE: Service can be a per dining experience so might be rare). The price is above average and in my opinion, not worth it especially because there is a better restaurant right next door.
