They will definitely try to rip you off!!! Dr. Mitra Madison was wonderful but dealing with the billing lady was a nightmare. They said my copay would be $115. After using my phone to look up my benefits I found they were trying to overcharge me by $45. They still scammed $20 out of me for an "optional" lesson on inserting and removing contacts.

Are these people going to the same office??? I've been going to see Dr. Adam Madison since just after we moved here from Louisville, KY a few years ago. I chose the office because they had the highest ratings in Fredericksburg at that time. I've never been charged a contact fitting fee in fact I got free glasses with the purchase of several boxes of contacts (at a great price!!!) The staff is always exceptionally friendly and professional. And I don't believe I am alone, with several optometry offices in town theirs is almost always busy.
