Salvage Archaeology is housed in the Old Stone Warehouse which was built in 1813. Over the years the warehouse became buried and its history was being buried with it. About 10 years ago a massive archeology and restoration project began at the warehouse. Now, its three levels and attic space are being cleaned up and restored back to their original beauty. Visit the warehouse and get a history lesson, take a walk to the bank of the river out back, or learn about the Colonial and Native American artifacts that have been excavated from the site so far.

great place and lots of stories. I think Jack Edlund is in Florida at his 'celery plantation' and will be back when the weather breaks. Jack is very generous with his time and loves to tell the history about the warehouse. He also has an art gallery downstairs with his work. The first two stars are for the building with the last 3 for Jack.
