A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint after making a delivery Saturday night, according to Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police Department spokesperson. The victim reported he was walking back to his vehicle at 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Princess Anne St. when he was confronted by a male subject armed with a handgun. The victim complied with the offender’s demands to turn over his cash and wallet. The offender then ran from the area. The victim immediately called 911. A police K-9 from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene and ran a track, but the suspect was not located, Bledsoe said. A Spotsylvania resident intending to help a female friend was allegedly robbed by that woman and two other men. The Spotsylvania resident reported a female friend picked him up at his home at about 3:10 a.m. Nov. 15 and drove to the Sheetz at 2001 Carl D Silver Parkway in order to put gas in her car, according to Fredericksburg Police Public Information Officer Natatia Bledsoe. The victim gave the female money for the fuel. After paying the clerk, the female started talking to two male subjects standing outside the doors of the business. The owner of the Plank Road service station was robbed at gunpoint Sunday.
The owner of the Gulf Service Station at 2120 Plank Road was robbed at gunpoint at about 7:35 p.m. Sunday, according to City of Fredericksburg Police. The victim said a male subject walked to the counter, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cash register. The victim turned over a quantity of cash, and the suspect ran from the scene in the direction of the stores located behind the business. A K-9 from the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office responded to the area, but the suspect was not located. The suspect was described as a white male approximately 6-feet-tall, wearing a brown hoodie pulled up to conceal his face and khaki cargo pants. The investigation is ongoing.

Police are searching for 24-year-old Doug Taylor of Stafford County on charges of armed robbery and grand larceny.
A 22-year-old female told police today that a man who was covering his face with a hood attacked her this morning and stole her purse. The Fredericksburg Police Department issued a press release today that officers are searching for Douglas Taylor, 24, of Petroleum Lane in Stafford County. If you know his whereabouts, call 540-373-3122. He is wanted for armed robbery and grand larceny. Police believe he may have attacked a woman at the Fredericksburg Trailer Park this morning at about 7:25. The 22-year-old victim told police she was getting ready to leave in her car when a man whose face was hidden inside a hood assaulted her and pressed an object against her back while asking her to hand over her purse. Victim sustains non-life threatening gunshot wound in botched stickup.
A Fredericksburg man is recovering after an attempted armed robbery left him with a gunshot wound through the arm. Fredericksburg Police say that the incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 in the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue in the Mayfield neighborhood. According to city police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe, a 24-year-old man who lives in Idlewilde, was visiting a friend's house in Mayfield when he was attacked. Police say that the victim had stepped out briefly to make a trip to 7-11. On his way back, his assailant jumped out from behind some bushes next to the sidewalk and demanded money from the victim.
