An adult female and a juvenile female have been identified as two of the individuals involved in the reported assault at Buffalo Wild Wings Jan. 25. Nakima Jiggetts, 18, of King George County was arrested Jan. 31 and charged with assault and battery for her role in the incident, Natatia Bledsoe, City of Fredericksburg Police Department spokesperson, said. Jiggetts was released on personal recognizance. A petition has been filed with Juvenile Intake authorities to charge a 16-year-old female from Spotsylvania County with assault as well, Bledsoe said. City of Fredericksburg police are seeking information in a Nov. 20 home invasion, robbery and assault. At about 9 p.m. police responded to Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center for a 20-year-old male who had severe injuries from an assault, said Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police Department Public Information Officer, in a press release. The victim reported he was home at Crestview Apartments with his 66-year-old father, when he answered a knock at the door. Twelve-year-old kicked and knocked down by coach during practice, said law enforcement.
A 12-year-old student at Ni River Middle School in Spotsylvania County was allegedly assaulted by a volunteer coach during football practice on Oct. 16, according to Cpt. Mike Harvey of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office. During football practice the volunteer coach kicked the player, knocking him to the ground, according to Harvey. Harvey said in a release when the student was picked up by his father, the father confronted the coach and assaulted him. A 21-year-old white male of Spotsylvania, a volunteer coach with the Ni River Middle School Football team, was charged with a felony cruelty and injuries to children (Virginia Code Section 40.1-103). Cpt. Mike Harvey reports the following arrests were made by the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office during the week of Sept. 28 - Oct. 11, 2012. Theft On Sept. 28, a 20-year-old black male of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting at Belk. A 19-year-old white male of Ruther Glenn, VA, was arrested on Oct. 1 at Walmart Southpoint for petit larceny. Two Spotsylvania white females, ages 53 and 27, were arrested on Oct. 1 at Target for grand larceny. They were also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and conspiracy to commit a larceny. A 27-year-old white female from Spotsylvania was arrested Oct. 1 for felony shoplifting and drunk in public in the 10000 block of Spotsylvania Ave. The woman shoplifted from Food Lion as well …

A Stafford man faces multiple charges after police said he assaulted his ex-girlfriend and stole her keys. Manassas City Police arrested and charged Artanis Carmichael, 30, of Mountain Perry Drive in Stafford, with robbery, destruction of property, assault, battery and unlawful entry. At 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, the victim told police that she had an argument with Carmichael the night before, at her apartment. After suspect allegedly assaulted a woman, her boyfriend confronted him and was injured, police say.
Fredericksburg police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a Spotsylvania woman, then cut her boyfriend's hand with a box cutter. The woman was in her car around 2:40 a.m. Sept. 8 at the 1700 block of Lafayette Blvd when a man approached her and offered her money for sex. The woman, who had just returned to her friend's apartment after a trip to the store, refused. The man then reached inside the car and started fondling her butt, said Natatia Bledsoe, a public information officer with the Fredericksburg Police Department. The man walked away after she screamed. The woman then ran into the apartment and woke up her boyfriend. The boyfriend went outside to look for the suspect and found him inside a green Mitsubishi Gallant. …

Fredericksburg Police say that after arresting Matthew Huntley for DUI, he tried to headbutt the officer and kneed him in the ribs.
Another person drove into the brick wall at the Washington Avenue cemetery and police say he fought with the police officers after he was brought to jail. Matthew Huntley, 26, of Spotsylvania County, was charged with DUI and assault on a police officer after the incident after 2 a.m. on Feb. 11. Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said police responded to the cemetery and found Huntley inside his 1994 Ford Explorer. This is at least the third time in 12 months that someone has crashed into the cemetery wall. Huntley was arrested for DUI and taken to the magistrate's office. A teenager got her nose broken after a scuffle Saturday in the Walmart parking lot over parking etiquette.
A 27-year-old Stafford County woman is accused of breaking a teenager's nose after an argument over parking etiquette. At about 6 p.m. on Feb. 4, Shawnda Bonaparte watched a male driver of a pick-up truck pull into the parking spot that another female had been waiting to take, so she confronted the driver, said Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe. An argument ensued and Bonaparte is accused of walking to the other side of the truck and punching the face and breaking the nose of the passenger, a 17-year-old girl, Bledsoe said. The other woman who had been waiting to take the parking space did not get involved in the altercation and she did not know Bonaparte. People who saw the fight in the parking lot called police. …
Two brothers who were walking women back to their vehicles at Hard Times Cafe were attacked by a group of three men, one of whom had brass knuckles.
Two brothers were attacked outside of Hard Times Café Sunday morning and sustained wounds to their faces. The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office reported that the two victims, a 28-year-old and a 36-year-old, were walking two women back to their vehicles parked at the 5099 Jefferson Davis Highway restaurant/bar when they were attacked from behind by a group of three men. One of the suspects had a pair of brass knuckles. One victim suffered a broken nose, broken finger, damage to his eye socket and several stitches above his left eye. A man reported he was attacked Sunday morning when leaving Grapevine Cafe at about 1:30 a.m.
A man was forced to the ground and kicked repeatedly before security guards at Grapevine Cafe could come outside to his rescue Sunday morning. Natatia Bledsoe, spokeswoman for the police department, said a patron of the bar at 622 Kenmore Ave. was leaving with his girlfriend at about 1:30 a.m. when two black males attacked him without provocation. Bledsoe said that the victim and the attackers were all inside the bar at one time but the attack was outside. She said the attackers forced the victim to the ground and started kicking him before security from the bar could come to his rescue.
