Cathy Davis Is Cabot Community Celebrity Winner
Davis, the chairwoman of the board for the Rappahannock United Way, won an all-expenses paid trip to Alaska.
Cathy Davis and her husband, Ron, are going to Alaska. Davis, the chairwoman of the board for the Rappahannock United Way, was one of 40 people across the nation to win the Cabot Community Celebrity award during the Cabot Community Tour 2012 event Saturday at Old Mill Park. As the winner, she got an all-expenses paid trip to Alaska, where she will be going with her husband, Ron, who was by her side to accept the award. Cabot Creamery Cooperative, best known as makers of "The World’s Best Cheddar,” created the event to recognize local people who make a difference in their communities.
