Ferry Farm's Errant Paper Shortage Memo Causes Stir

School Board clarifies that Ferry Farm does not have a paper shortage.

The paper shortage misunderstanding at Stafford County’s Ferry Farm Elementary School continues to be a controversial topic.  School Board Chairwoman Stephanie Johnson addressed the paper shortage gaffe in a May 7 letter to Stafford County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Susan Stimpson. She explained the budgetary allotment and supply procurement process for Stafford County schools.   “There has been considerable talk in our community concerning a perceived lack of paper at Ferry Farm Elementary School and I wanted to take this opportunity to clarify this discussion for you and the members of the Board of Supervisors,” wrote Johnson.
