Closings, Delays and Cancellations Jan. 25

Always Sonshine Learn and Play opening at 10 a.m. Crossroads Christian Academy is closed. Federal agencies in the Washington, DC, area are open. Employees have the option for unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework. Fredericksburg Academy will open two hours late Friday. Fredericksburg Baptist Church Weekday preschool is closed.  Fredericksburg Christian Schools, closed. Fredericksburg City Public Schools are opening two hours late. King George County Schools are closed.  Code 2 for staff. Lighthouse Academy of Fredericksburg is closed. Saint Michael the Archangel High School is closed. Exams will be rescheduled for Monday. Fredericksburg Area Weather Closings and Cancellations

An ongoing list of closings and cancellations in the Fredericksburg area due to weather conditions Jan. 17 - 18.

1:30 p.m. Jan. 17 All after-school activities at Fredericksburg Academy are cancelled today. The Lower School Open Classroom Night is rescheduled for Jan. 24, the school said. The Fredericksburg Eagles 4123 ladies' auxiliary meeting is cancelled for tonight. 1 p.m. Jan. 17 Spotsylvania Parks and Recreation has cancelled all evening activities for Jan. 17, according to an email from the county. 12:15 p.m. Jan. 17 Germanna Community College will close all campuses at 2 p.m. today, the school announced. All Thursday after school and evening activities for Spotsylvania County Public Schools have been canceled. Stafford County Public Schools have canceled all activities beginning after 5 p.m. tonight.
