Resident Says Teen Picked His Pocket While Boy on Scooter Watched
A 66-year-old resident had just taken out cash from an ATM at the Fredericksburg Shopping Center when a teen took the wallet out of the resident's back pocket.
At least one teenager could be in deep trouble after a 66-year-old Fredericksburg resident accused him of pick-pocketing the cash he had just taken out of an ATM Wednesday afternoon. Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said a resident reported the incident to police at about 1:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Fredericksburg Shopping Center on Jefferson Davis Highway. The victim was behind the Rent-A-Center when a teenager stole the wallet out of the man's back pocket, Bledsoe said. The victim was using a walker and had an oxygen tank.
