Win a Quilt Signed by Celebrities to Help Animal Sanctuary
An animal refuge in Orange County, about 40 miles west of Fredericksburg, is raffling off a beautiful quilt signed by 20 celebrities, including Johnny Depp, Dolly Parton and Elizabeth Taylor. A volunteer was in Fredericksburg today raising awareness.
Rikki's Refuge volunteer and board member Melissa Felts was in downtown Fredericksburg today fundraising and bringing awareness to the 335-acre animal refuge 40 miles west of Fredericksburg in Orange County. Felts was at Dixie's Hair Studio at 301 Lafayette Blvd taking donations for cookies, brownies and cakes and selling raffle tickets to win a quilt that is autographed by 20 celebrities. Felts, of Fredericksburg, got the signatures and Jo Ann Cooper of South Carolina made the quilt, a 73.50-inches wide by 76-inches long with 100-percent cotton and 100-percent wool batting.
