Victims Bound During Home Invasion, Robbery

The City of Fredericksburg Police Department provided this information. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

ROBBERY: 100 block Farrell Ln, 5/14 3:00 a.m. Police responded to a home invasion robbery where the three adult residents, a mother and son and a male roommate, reported they were tied up and threatened at gunpoint by multiple assailants. The roommate also told the investigating officers that his vehicle, a 2001 silver Chevrolet Cavalier, had been stolen in Woodbridge around 3 p.m. on May 13, and his cell phone and keys were stolen along with the car. The victims described how four men wearing masks and armed with guns woke them around 3 a.m. Tuesday and tied their hands. The offenders then ransacked the house and stole various items of value. Jewelry Store Robbery in Stafford

Diamond Concepts jewelry was robbed Wednesday morning. The suspect is still at large.

An employee was threatened with death and her hands were tied as an unknown male robbed the Diamond Concepts jewelry store at about 10 a.m. Wednesday. When the suspect entered the story at 296 Garrisonville Rd. in Stafford, he immediately turned away from the employee and covered his face before approaching her, Stafford Crime Solvers said in a press release. "The suspect said he would kill the employee if she did not comply and forced her to the rear of the store, where he secured her hands and put her in the bathroom," the release said.  The male suspect then went through the opened safe and several display cases, taking a large number of diamond rings. Fredericksburg Man Set-Up for Robbery

Police say the Fredericksburg man is an acquaintance of the woman who planned the robbery.

Sarah Lynn McKelvey, 23, of Triangle, reportedly set up two acquaintances to be robbed Monday night, and was accidentally shot during the incident, according to Prince William County Police.  Just before 5 p.m. Dec. 3, a 47-year-old Triangle woman picked up McKelvey and a 42-year-old Fredericksburg man near the Dumfries Shopping Plaza.  They drove to the 18200 block of Graham Court in Triangle, where a man approached the vehicle, displayed a handgun and began assaulting the Fredericksburg man  with the gun, said Officer Jonathan Perok in a press release. Police Seek Home Invasion, Robbery Information

The November 20 incident is still under investigation.

City of Fredericksburg police are seeking information in a Nov. 20 home invasion, robbery and assault. At about 9 p.m. police responded to Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center for a 20-year-old male who had severe injuries from an assault, said Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police Department Public Information Officer, in a press release.  The victim reported he was home at Crestview Apartments with his 66-year-old father, when he answered a knock at the door.  As soon as he opened the door, three or four male subjects pushed their way into the residence. Homeless Man Robbed in Downtown Fredericksburg

The victim was knocked unconscious by three persons while on the canal path.

A 44-year-old homeless man reported he was knocked unconscious and robbed while walking along the canal path at about 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, said Natatia L. Bledsoe, Public Information Officer for the Fredericksburg Police Department. In her crime report, Bledsoe said the man described encountering two males and a female near the pump station at Old Cossey Pond. The victim exchanged some words with the group. Immediately after walking past the three unknown individuals, the victim was forcefully struck on the back of the head with a blunt object, said Bledsoe. The assault rendered the victim unconscious. Stafford Man Charged With Assault, Robbery

Artanis Carmichael, 30, reportedly assaulted an ex-girlfriend and stole her keys.

The following information was provided by the Manassas City Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.  A Stafford man faces multiple charges after police said he assaulted his ex-girlfriend and stole her keys.  Manassas City Police arrested and charged Artanis Carmichael, 30, of Mountain Perry Drive in Stafford, with robbery, destruction of property, assault, battery and unlawful entry. At 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, the victim told police that she had an argument with Carmichael the night before, at her apartment. The woman left the apartment, but Carmichael followed her down Main St., near Prince William St., police said. He threatened her, so she tried to flag down a passing driver to help. Carmichael …

Stafford Teen Robbed At Gunpoint At Spotsy Mall

The two robbers approached the 19-year-old Stafford teenager in the parking lot of Spotsylvania Towne Centre and demanded his shoes and money as they pointed a gun at him.

Two teenagers were arrested for robbing a man in the parking lot of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre on March 10. The 19-year-old Stafford victim told Spotsylvania sheriff's deputies that at about 9:10 p.m. on March 10 in the parking lot of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre he was approached by two young black males who displayed a handgun while they demanded his shoes and money. The victim said the two robbers originally asked him for a cigarette and a ride to McDonald's but he refused. Then, the robbers displayed a handgun and demanded his shoes and money. Canal Street Robbery Suspect At Large

A man told police that he was robbed of his wallet and spare cash in his pockets.

A resident on Canal Street told Fredericksburg police officers that when he was getting into his car this morning at about 5:45 someone approached him from behind, placed a metal object against his neck and demanded money. The suspect took the man's wallet and spare cash that was in his pockets. The suspect then ran from the scene. The victim told police he thought the man was wearing a black hoodie and jeans, but the hood concealed his face. A Spotsylvania County police canine was unsuccessful finding the suspect.

First Citizens Bank Robbed Second Time in 30 Days

Fredericksburg Police tweet about recent bank robbery. This is the second robbery of this bank in 30 days.

The Fredericsburg Police Department tweeted this afternoon that the First Citizens Bank at 3205 Plank Road was robbed. Natatia Bledsoe, police spokeswoman, said that a white male entered the bank just before 1:30 p.m. and gave a note to the teller. He did not display a weapon. She said the suspect jumped over the teller counter, but ran from the scene before he could get any money. No one was injured. The suspect was last seen running in the direction of the Regal 14 Cinemas.  This is the second robbery at the First Citizens Bank within the past 30 days, with the last one on Dec. 22.
