A Spotsylvania resident intending to help a female friend was allegedly robbed by that woman and two other men. The Spotsylvania resident reported a female friend picked him up at his home at about 3:10 a.m. Nov. 15 and drove to the Sheetz at 2001 Carl D Silver Parkway in order to put gas in her car, according to Fredericksburg Police Public Information Officer Natatia Bledsoe. The victim gave the female money for the fuel. After paying the clerk, the female started talking to two male subjects standing outside the doors of the business. One suspect still at large following violent weekend robbery in Central Park.
The Fredericksburg Police Department arrested two juvenile suspects last night in connection with a violent armed robbery and carjacking which happened over the weekend at the Sheetz in Central Park. The two suspects include a 17-year-old boy who resides at the Riverside Manor Townhomes in Fredericksburg and a 15-year-old boy from Spotsylvania County. The 17-year-old was brought to the police department by his parents and turned in. The 15-year-old was arrested at his home. Police are still looking for a third, as yet unidentified, suspect in the case.
