Brett Anderson is a Native of San Diego, California, attended college at the University of California at Santa Barbara and has lived in the Fredericksburg area since 1999.   Brett occasionally reports on local stories for the Fredericksburg Patch.com.  In addition to writing for Patch.com he has worked as an Airline Pilot for 23 years and currently flies international Routes out of Washington D.C. as a Boeing 767 pilot.  Brett has always been interested in writing and journalism and is working on making it a second career.  He has had several articles published in sailing magazines.  

When he is not flying or writing, Brett enjoys sailing, riding motorcycles, traveling, working out and spending time with his two daughters.
