About Julie
Originally from Arkansas, Julie May has lived in Fredericksburg since 2003, moving here after completing her Master of Earth and Environmental Resource Management degree at the University of South Carolina. Her professional background lies in protecting the environment, from the remediation of petroleum contaminated groundwater in South Carolina to working to reduce nutrient pollution in the Rappahannock River with the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. She has worked for the Rappahannock Regional Solid Waste Management Board since 2004 and is responsible for their community outreach and environmental education programs including coordinating Backyard Composting 101, r-board.org, and conducting landfill tours. Julie loves spending time with her son, college football (GO HOGS!), and just about anything outdoors.

Ms. May,
This is Samuel Pak, following up on my emails and phone messages. After driving around Stafford for a while, I was informed that you work at home (something I should have asked Mr. Newton in the beginning, unfortunately).
I have less than 5 days until my birthday. I would appreciate it if we could discuss my project - I am fairly confident that I can finish it in about 2~3 days, if you can approve my project.
I sent you several emails some time ago, containing my thoughts on your recommendations for my project. However, I received no response... and my voicemails have gone unanswered as well.
If you can email me back at spak@cgs.k12.va.us, s.pak93@gmail.com, or call me at (540) 286-1684 or my cell, (540) 429-7815, I would greatly appreciate it.
