Motts Run Reservoir Family Campout
An overnight campout complete with weenie roast and s'mores.
The Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation Department invites families to enjoy a magical autumn evening complete with a weenie roast and s’mores along the shore of Motts Run Reservoir. Campout to the sounds of night birds and beavers, and wake to the smell of coffee, bacon and French toast.
Parks & Rec will provide the food and fun; you bring your tent and a love of the great outdoors. Pre-registration is required.
A camp out list of what to bring is available at the Dorothy Hart Community Center.
What: Campout in the Park
When: Friday Nov. 1, 5 p.m. until Saturday, Nov. 2, 10 a.m.
Who: Families – all ages welcome (please, no pets!)
