ChamberLink Wins 2013 APEX Award
The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce publication won in the Magapapers and Newspapers – Print category.
The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce received a 2013 APEX Award of Excellence for its May 2012 issue of ChamberLink. The issue included a centerspread on the future of defense contracting in light of the federal budget sequester.
ChamberLink, which is printed monthly in partnership with The Journal Press, won in the Magapapers and Newspapers – Print category.
The APEX (Awards for Publication Excellence) Awards – are presented annually by Springfield, VA-based Communications Concepts, Inc., which offers advice to public relations and marketing professionals on how to improve their publications and communications program.
Businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies and educational institutions from around the world submitted nearly 2,400 entries for the 2013 APEX Awards. The judging panel gave APEX Awards in 138 individual categories.
