A Restaurateur Riverfront Opportunity in Fredericksburg

TruLuv’s Modern American Bistro at 1101 Sophia St. in downtown Fredericksburg has closed.

Twice this summer I enjoyed dinner on the restaurant's back patio overlooking the Rappahannock River.  I commented to my friends that the place looked shabby, but sure had great potential.  We discussed all the great opportunities the location provided, if the infrastructure was just given some TLC and creativity.  

Now the 5,600-square-foot property is for lease.  I personally hope someone rejuvenates the location.  It's a beautiful place to enjoy dinner -- inside or outside -- along the river in Fredericksburg.
