Trade in a Handbag, Help the Hope House

There are just three days remaining in the handbag trade-in event at C.I.S. Sportswear in Downtown Fredericksburg.

Bring in any handbag and receive a discount on the purchase of a new Brighton handbag.

The trade-ins will be donated to Hope House for their August 22 Bags of Hope Benefit.  The benefit auction will include new and gently used purses, vintage handbags, celebrity clutches, luggage accessories, golf bags, and more. 

Proceeds from Bags of Hope will benefit Hope House, the Fredericksburg shelter providing homeless mothers and their children with safe housing and the opportunities to transition to successful, independent living.

Tickets for the benefit are $35 and may be purchased online.

Staff at C.I.S. Sportswear said the Handbag Trade-In officially ends July 27, but the store will extend the event through Monday, July 29.  C.I.S. Sportswear is located at 806 Caroline Street.
