The 2013 Fredericksburg Jingle Bell 5KRun/1 mile Fun Run/Walk
for Arthritis is a fun -filled holiday themed running/walking event where
hundreds of people tie jingle bells to their shoes and take to the pavement
while simultaneously raising money to support arthritis research, community
programs & services and advocacy initiatives that help improve the lives of
people with arthritis. There are 50 million adults including more than 300,000
children in the US
who suffer from 1 of the 100 forms of arthritis.
The
2013 Fredericksburg Jingle Bell 5K Run/1 mi. Fun Run/Walk is a community event
in its truest sense. Teams of people from schools, churches, neighborhoods, civic groups and businesses come
together to show support for those who battle this disease. Jingle Bell Run/Walk events have been held
all over the United States
since 1984.
