Second Saturdays at the Museum

Join us July 13th from 1-3 pm for Second Saturdays at the Museum! This
month we invite you and your children to learn about the role Fredericksburg
played in the American Revolution. Children will create toilet paper roll revolutionary
figures, such as Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. They also have the
opportunity to make their own revolutionary war flags. Please join us for this
FREE event.

Second
Saturdays at the Museum
is a regularly scheduled family program that
includes hands-on activities, make-and-take crafts, and an opportunity to
explore the Museum’s exhibits.  The program is held on the second Saturday
of each month, with varying topics and themes related to the Museum’s permanent
and temporary exhibitions.  Second
Saturdays
at the Museum
is a FREE program unless otherwise specified.  Registration is not
required except when noted.  For additional information on this program,
please contact Janelle Kennedy, jkennedy@famcc.org, or
540-371-3037, ext. 142. This program is sponsored by PNC Bank with support from
the Kinder Morgan Foundation.
