A few weeks ago I wrote a blog post about how brides need to be prepared for rainy day weddings. Everything from having boots for the bride and her “girls” to umbrellas and contingency plans. Although I mentioned lighting in photos briefly, given the extraordinary amount of precipitation we’ve had this summer I feel a few more words on the subject are necessary.
Brides, I know you’ve done your homework and have a list of must have candid shots you’ll provide your photographer. Does your list include the possibility of rain? Somewhere in the conversation with your photographer the subject of rain needs to be addressed. Ask the photographer how they work around the rain. Or what kinds of shots they suggest being taken.
