Armed Robbery at Fredericksburg Handy Mart

The two suspects are still at large.

At 12:30 p.m. Friday, the Fredericksburg E-911 Center received a call from an alarm company reporting a silent panic alarm at the Handy Mart located at 3054 Plank Rd..  With officers responding, the dispatchers made contact with the store and confirmed that the business had just been robbed.

The female working at the register described the suspects as both black males in their 20’s, at least one of whom displayed a handgun.  Both suspects had short hair and were wearing black shirts.  One of the suspects was wearing camouflage pants.

The suspects were last seen running toward the neighboring Burger King.  Officers set a perimeter and searched the area but the suspects have not been located.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
