Man Steals Two TV's from Walmart Simply By Walking Out With Them

And other recent Fredericksburg police reports of larceny, vandalism and fraud.

LARCENY:

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/2 5:45 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject stole two televisions by walking with them in a cart out of the store past all points of sale. The investigation is ongoing. 

1900 block Woodlyn Dr, 11/1 – 12/3 9:45 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole camping equipment from his storage locker. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Five Below, 1386 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 11/27 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole her purse from her locker. The investigation is ongoing.

1000 block Wicklow Dr, 11/28 2:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person forced the lock on her car door and stole a tablet from the back seat. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block Cobblestone Blvd, 11/27 – 11/28 3:30 a.m. A visitor reported that an unknown person stole her purse from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block Denton Cir, 11/28 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole her prescription medication from her room. The investigation is ongoing.

200 Lafayette Blvd 11/29 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Norfolk resident reported that an unknown person stole his wallet from his pocket while he was on the train. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Verizon, 1580 Central Park Blvd, 12/1 4:30 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole a cell phone from a display. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM

100 block Princess Anne St, 12/2 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on her apartment. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

7-Eleven, 3333 Fall Hill Ave, 11/29 1:10 a.m. An employee reported that a male subject kicked his vehicle, causing damage to the passenger side door. The investigation is ongoing.

600 block Fauquier St, 11/29 10:00 p.m. – 11:20 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on his vehicle and set off the car’s alarm. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1100 block Westwood Dr, 11/30 – 12/1 2:00 p.m. Two residents reported that an unknown person knocked over their mailboxes. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

100 block Hillcrest Dr, 11/30 – 12/1 1:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person slashed a tire on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

FRAUD:

1000 block Heritage Park Dr, 12/2 10:00 p.m. A delivery driver reported that two male subjects paid for an order of food with counterfeit currency. The investigation is ongoing.

McDonalds, 1701 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 11/25 – 12/3 2:30 p.m. A manager reported that an unknown person used counterfeit currency to pay for meals. The investigation is ongoing.

SEARCH WARRANT:

1900 block Howard Ave, 12/4 5:30 a.m. A search warrant was served at a residence in the 1900 block of Howard Avenue. Two occupants of the home, Travon Thomas, 23, and Davante Thomas, 21, were both arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Both Thomas subjects were incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
