One victim seriously injured during fight at Quaker Steak and Lube, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

A man allegedly used a motorcycle helmet to strike several people during a fight at the Quaker Steak and Lube on Saturday night, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department. One victim suffered brain trauma, according to police.

Shilo Joe Keihn, 40, of Spotsylvania, is charged with malicious wounding.

Officers arrived at the restaurant at 1300 Central Park Blvd. at 11:55 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was found with severe head and facial injuries. He suffered several fractures and brain trauma. He was transported by ambulance to Mary Washington Hospital where he was admitted to the ICU, according to police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe.

Additional victims had been struck trying to intervene, but were not severely injured. Keihn allegedly got into an argument with the victim at the back of the restaurant, and began swinging the motorcycle helmet, allegedly using it as a weapon, according to Bledsoe.

Employees from the restaurant were restraining Keihn in the men’s bathroom when officers arrived on the scene. Keihn is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
