Police: Three Armed Robbers Grab Cash, Cell Phone

Also, car burglarized and cash reportedly stolen from medical office employee's wallet.

Police responded at 5:40 p.m. Thursday at the 300 block of Tyler Street regarding a reported robbery.

The victim, 45, told police that he was walking down the street when three men approached him. The men were reportedly armed with handguns, according to Fredericksburg Police.

The victim said they pointed the guns at him and stole his wallet and cell phone.

The unknown suspects reportedly left in a sedan, possibly dark grey. The were described as three black males in their 30s. 

The investigation is ongoing.

Incidents reported by the City of Fredericksburg Police Department:

LARCENY

600 block Cobblestone Blvd, 6/2 – 6/4 5:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a camera and some camping equipment from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

Fredericksburg Orthopedics, 3310 Fall Hill Ave, 6/5 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. An employee reported that cash was stolen from his wallet. The investigation is ongoing.
