Police: Window Broken Out at Plank Road Store

Plus, vandalism reported at Calvary Christian Church, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

Fredericksburg City Police responded to a burglary at a Plank Road store and vandalism at Calvary Christian Church recently — two of the recent incident calls reported by the department Wednesday.

At 3 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the Verizon Wireless at 1998 Plank Road.

The glass in the front door had been shattered, according to police. Two iPhones were stolen. The investigation is ongoing, according to police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe

Also Friday, at 1:20 p.m, officers responded to Calvary Christian Church at 2222 Jefferson Davis Highway.

A pastor told police that an unknown person had damaged a gate door at the church. Graffiti had also been marked on the side of a dumpster. There are no suspects or witnesses.
