Southpoint Cinemas, 5800 Southpoint Blvd. in Fredericksburg, is showing free Tuesday and Wednesday morning movies throughout the summer. The free films are part of Marquee Cinemas 2013 Kid's Summer Movie Series.
There are two movies to choose from each movie day. Show time is 9:30 a.m. The films are:
June 25 & 26 - "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days"
July 2 & 3 - "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" and "Parental Guidance"
July 9 & 10 - "Planet 51" and "The Pirates"
July 16 & 17 - "Open Season" and "Mall Cop"
July 23 & 24 - "Puss in Boots" and "Rise of the Guardians"
July 30 & 31 - "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" and "Thunderstruck"
August 6 & 7 - "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" and "Big Miracle"
Limited seating is available. Movies are subject to change without notice.
