Police Update: Attempted Carjacking Unfounded
Alleged victim charged with filing a false report. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A Milford man has been charged with filing a false report with the Fredericksburg police.
Joseph Loving, 21, reported August 23 that an unknown male attempted to steal his vehicle in the 500 block of Park Hill Dr.

Police later determined Loving had made a false report. "The supposed victim was arrested on August 30 and released on his own recognizance," Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg City Police spokesperson said.
