Residents Hear Noises in Kitchen, Startle Intruder

Fredericksburg crimes reported Oct. 3 - 7, 2013. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction

UNLAWFUL ENTRY:
300 block Cannon Cir, 10/4 11:50 p.m. The residents of a home reported that they heard loud noises coming from the kitchen and found that the glass from the door between the kitchen and the carport was shattered all over the floor inside. One resident also reported that he saw a black male running away from the house.

Police searched the area and found the suspect lying in the median strip on Confederate Ridge Boulevard. He was bleeding from an injury on his hand and was transported to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment.

Johnny Pullen, 22, of Sperryville was arrested for unlawful entry, destruction of property, and possession of marijuana. Pullen was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY:
McDonalds, 1212 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 10/5 2:00 a.m. A 22-year-old student reported that a male subject approached him and threatened him with harm if he did not give him some cash.

The victim told the unknown male he was calling police and the offender walked away in the direction of College Avenue.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 6’ with a thin build, and with long braids in his hair. The suspect was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY:
Reed Riverboat, 200 Sophia St, 10/3 – 10/4 1:00 p.m. The owner reported that an unknown person broke into the bar area on the riverboat and stole a quantity of liquor. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:
1100 block Fleetwood Ct, 10/3 – 10/4 7:45 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle and rummaged through the interior, stealing a small item. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

300 block Princess Anne St, 10/5 1:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole her purse from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Stuart St, 10/4 – 10/5 9:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person forced open the door of her vehicle and stole a quantity of change from the center console. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Bus Station, 1400 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 10/6 11:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. A visitor reported that an unknown person stole a laptop computer and other items of value from a bench. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1500 block Prince Edward St, 10/6 -10/7 9:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a wallet and other items of value from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1300 block Prince Edward St, 10/5 – 10/7 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a work identification badge from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:
800 block Sunken Rd, 10/4 – 10/5 3:15 p.m. A student reported that an unknown person shattered the driver’s side window on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:
Michael Ryder, 48, of Stafford was arrested for two counts of hit and run.

Guy Amburgey, 50, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Nathaniel Parker, 38, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Zachery Wuthrich, 30, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.

Richard Turville, 29, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.

Devin Walsh, 24, of Stafford was arrested for indecent exposure.

Graham Parker, 43, of Spotsylvania was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Roger Perrin, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Bryon Hitchings, 18, of Locust Grove was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Mark Jones, 41, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest and on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of robbery.

Randolph Liles, 36, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Sharonia Feliciano, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
